SPRED
We welcome six children: Daniel,
Jack, Michael, Aidan, Eoin and
Joseph whose parents agreed to have
them in Christ the King’s 6 to 10
Spred group for children with
developmental or intellectual
challenges. We also know there are
other families in our parish whose
teenager, young adult or adult can
benefit from the Spred program in
our area. Each of these children
needs a helper catechist. We are
looking for more men and women to
join u s in this ministry.
No experience is needed since
training is offered. Please join us
if you are a parent of a person with developmental
and intellectual disabilities of any
age or level of abilities or an
interested volunteer on Wednesday,
February 10 at 7:00 pm in the
Gleeson Center. Come for the
information and make your own
decision.
Spred is a ministry that gives to
both our friends with special needs
as well as to those who volunteer a
deeper relationship with the Lord.
We ask you to try something new and
different for your spiritual life
and Spred is one way. Come and
discover what it is. We only need a
few more volunteers!
