Our Religious Education program provides an opportunity for religious education for those children not attending Catholic school
The Religious Ed faculty and staff is composed of a committed group of parishioners and St. Xavier University teacher candidates dedicated to the catechetical ministry of the Church. They give of their time and talent to assist parents and the catechisizing community in their religious education of the young people in the Religious Ed program. They give witness to the importance of their Faith in their own lives and assume responsibility for their life-long Faith development as Catechists. They participate in the mission of the Church of proclaiming, celebrating and serving.
The mission of the RE program is to assist parents in "passing on" our faith to the children.
It is the task of the Christian Community to provide the environment and adult models for the youth to see a value in being Christian and Catholic. Catechetics is the process of handing on the Faith through knowledge and service. We are about witnessing to values and a life-style of Jesus amidst a contemporary world.
